Creo™ Preps Pro® software is used for the digital impositon that’s required by the majority of our lithographic clients. Supporting a near-endless variety of layouts, we can customize a Preps template to suit your most exacting specifications for position, setback, and printer marks.
After imposition, flats are processed through Artwork Systems’ Nexus™ 9 RIP, which produces the color-separated, screened 1-bit TIFF files used in both proofing and final plate production.
(Click here for an overview of proofing options.)
After imposed-page proofs are approved, the same 1-bit TIFF files that produced the proofs
are subsequently used to image the lithographic plates.
Because the exact same files are used twice in our production workflow,
a flawless match of proof to plate is ensured.
